Greetings Brethren,
Richest blessings and more of God’s boundless favor! Many of us continue to pray as we watched with consternation and unbelief what hurricane Melissa did to Jamaica and other Caribbean Islands in the last few hours.
So far it is reported that seven people have been confirmed dead – three in Jamaica, three in Haiti and One in the Dominican Republic. Many have been injured, and many are still missing as rescue efforts continue. It is also reported that the hospitals in Jamaica remain without power and hundreds of homes have been flattened. It is now being dubbed the worst storm in modern history.
As we meet in worship this Sunday morning, please remember to especially pray for all those affected by this most devastating storm and its after-effects. We are earnestly asking that you do more than pray. We are requesting that special offerings be raised beginning this Sunday and in the next few days and weeks. You may also donate directly on the regional website:

We will be contacting our Caribbean presbyter to find out the best way to send relief so that it can get to our people in need, as expeditiously as ever. Monies raised can be sent to the regional office as soon as possible or by using the link on the regional website.
Should you desire to send barrels, Pastor Haughton has made himself available to come pick up the barrels from our various local churches, but more information will be sent out as reports come in concerning the needs and damages to the Islands have been further assessed.
Brethren, thanks always for your genuine love and concern and prompt response to this ongoing crisis. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work” (2 Cor. 9:8). We pray and we liberally give!
