Strong Families, Strong Churches, Strong World

There are some things that are worth fighting for, they include peace, truth, justice and family – family, and by extension marriage. We don’t need anyone to tell us that the very institution of marriage is under attack. In the wake of that attack, the devastation is immeasurable spiritually, economically, emotionally and morally. Here are some statistics to consider:

•  85% of the U.S. population will marry at least once
• About 50% of marriages today will end in a divorce (1st 40%, 2nd 60%, 3rd 73%)
• Majority of the other 50% “need significant improvement”
• The percentage of adults who are married has steadily declined (1970, 68%; 2000, 60%)

Regional Family Ministries (RFM) will endeavor to:
·      Strengthen families
·      Strengthen marriages
·      Strengthen the faith community

Since 2013, this ministry has strengthened and supported families and marriages in partnership with the regional office, pastors and local leaders across the region through conferences, resources, the arts, workshops and the word. We endeavor to continue to support our local churches, districts and the region at large to help build, heal, and restore the great legacies and positive impact of the family. The mission we are tasked with is great, and we earnestly covet your prayers as we move through the region to fulfill the mission of this ministry as God provides the inspiration. ​
