Our Mission

The mission of Christian Education is to provide education and training opportunities that enhance spiritual formation, life enrichment, and service that will better equip the church in the Northeast Region to effectively minister in the 21st Century.

Our Vision

Our vision is for local churches to be places where spiritual growth and reproduction are common place and where emerging leaders are developed for succeeding generations.

Our Strategy

• Assist districts in coordinating courses offered through the Center for Biblical Leadership (CBL) & Development’s School of Practical and Advanced Studies (SOPAS)

• Provide assistance, guidance, and mentoring with enrollment and matriculation at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary/COGOP Consortium

• Provide assistance, guidance, and mentoring with enrollment and matriculation at Pentecostal Theological Seminary, a completely on-line certificate, master’s and doctoral program, offered in collaboration with the Church of God of Prophecy

• Plan and coordinate other courses, symposia, workshops, and conferences that will serve to enhance the ministerial development

• Upon request, consult with District Overseers and/or his designee and local churches to revitalize the ministry of Sunday School

About the Program

If you desire to increase your effectiveness and impact in ministry as a pastor, missionary, church planter, teacher, or ministry leader, or if you are pursuing your call to ministry, the FOUNDATIONS: Minister’s Development Program is for you! Prepared by a multicultural team of more than 30 COGOP pastors and experienced ministry leaders from fourteen nations on seven continents, these free on-site and online courses combine practical biblical and theological instruction with real-world ministry training. All new course offerings will be commence again in January 2024

AETH CERTIFICATION

Although Spirit & Life Seminary is not accredited, it has received certification from AETH. The Certification that AETH grants is recognized by the Association of Theological Schools. This Certification recognizes that Spirit and Life Seminary’s Ministry and Theological Studies program meets the expectations of equivalence of studies at the university baccalaureate level and indicates compliance with educational and institutional standards.
